It is principally agreed that the following commitments will serve as a road map work in the IDPs response in the coming years. The commitment and participation for the Church and KMSS together in this work will help in durable solutions to the IDPs issue.

The Bishops and Church leaders will engage with other stakeholders to promote self-understanding, appreciation, acceptance, mutual respect, harmony and peace among IDPs thus leading to a full life of human dignity through pastoral social program as well as advocate all the stakeholders to work for peace, reconciliation, fair and peaceful co-existence

The KMSS Network will reflect on its strategies and programing for humanitarian response, return and resettlement of the IDPs through enhancing the professional, transparent and accountable KMSS Network led by the well-honed leadership equipped with capable staff founded upon and inspired by CIMS and CST, promoting the IDP's human dignity through  designing the strategic self-reliance program supports, establishing advocacy program for just and peaceful environment and closely coordinated manner with other commissions and populace to achieve the comprehensive pastoral-social dimensions of the Catholic Church.

In the near future, the Church advocacy will involve more in different sectors. The 180 degrees advocacy will turn around from grass root level to Up to the government Organizations. The Church leaders agree on to do more on advocacy: among the Dioceses, other denominations, among the CSOs, stakeholders and to the top level the power holders those who are in Government and ethnic armed groups.
